If an efficiency expert were reviewing the first act of American Ballet Theatre's "Giselle," it would get high marks indeed. In last night's opening of a five-performance Boston run the dancers conveyed the story clearly, with more elaborate mime than in most modern productions of this survivor of the glory days of 19th century Romantic Ballet.
