AUCTION ENTHUSIASTS SHOULD BE THANKFUL FOR NEXT WEEKEND

Antiques auctions on Thanksgiving weekend are as traditional as
turkey and football are for Thanksgiving Day.
Next weekend's auctions will offer many choice antiques, including
those of an Ipswich consignor with roots reaching to the Colonial
era and the Alden, Appleton, and Derby families of Massachusetts as
well as to John Trumbull, the first governor of Connecticut.
The property consigned by a member of the Appleton family, whose
forebear Samuel Appleton settled in Ipswich in 1635, will be
auctioned by Frank Kaminski next Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Sheraton
Colonial Hotel in Lynnfield. ...
