In some neighborhoods, abandoned cars draw residents' ire. Along
the banks of the Neponset River, locals complain that another type of
rusting vehicle mars the urban landscape: deserted barges.
The hulks of boats have been mired in mud - two on the Quincy side
and two in Boston - longer than many have lived in the area.
No identifying numbers have been found on the vessels - some as
long as 150 feet - and no one knows for sure who left them there or
