Kirchner turns Bruckner's 7th into rare treat

There was a capacity crowd last night for the second and last of this summer's concerts by the Harvard Chamber Orchestra & Friends. Sanders Theater is air-conditioned, and the price, free, is right, but the real reason these events are packed is that audiences have learned to trust Kirchner, and a program of music by Kirchner and Bruckner is as popular as the one a couple of weeks ago that featured Brahms and pianist Russell Sherman.
