Support for conon bridge homes expansion

An Outline application for 70 new homes at Conon Bridge will be recommended for approval by Highland Council when it goes before planning for the second time on October 2.

Applicants Albyn Housing Society want to build 42 affordable homes and 28 private-sector homes on land to the north of Sellar Place, Conon Bridge.

The application represents a reduction of 10 houses from Albyn's original proposal, but still exceeds the 32 units permissible in the 2002 Local Plan.
