Yet another clothing designer is about to put her name on the
backside of America.
Donna Karan International Inc. said today it has entered into
a licensing agreement with Liz Claiborne Inc. for Donna Karan jeans.
Donna Karan, the Seventh Avenue fashion designer, will design the
jeans and Liz Claiborne will have exclusive rights to manufacture,
market, advertise and distribute them, according to the two
companies.
