10 Okla. listings added to National Register
|
Ten new properties in Oklahoma have been added to the National
Register of Historic Places, the nation's list of places significant
in U.S. history.
The new listings from Oklahoma include Traditional Cultural Place
of the Ponca Tribe, a historic commercial district, a Depression-
era park, and individual properties representing historic themes
significant in the state's history, according to the State Historic
Preservation Office.

events since their resettlement in 1878 after their forced removal
