When Mexican police raided a suspected drug cartel warehouse
three weeks ago in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, a city on the U.S. border,
they discovered an automobile fleet worthy of a James Bond movie
set.
The drug bosses' vehicles of choice included an armor-plated
yellow Corvette for cruising the mean streets of Juarez, a
bulletproof dump truck with narrow slits for firing guns at pursuing
enemies during airstrip pickups, and an armored black pickup truck
