Sound familiar?
That description no doubt conjures up images of Barry Bonds, but,
in fact, it was written years ago in Sport Magazine to describe Ted
Williams.
The Splendid Splinter died July 5, 2002, which is a shame because
Bonds is making his first visit to Fenway Park this weekend. The two
could have conversed about playing left field in front of the Green
Monster. They could have opined about hitting for power ...
