Public office: Cline to test waters

Some Kansans may soon be asked if they would vote for Rita Cline for governor.

The Shawnee County treasurer announced Friday that she will form a five-person exploratory committee to determine if she has enough statewide support for a gubernatorial run. Cline said she is hoping for results from the committee in about 45 days.
