DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla., --- Magdalene Agnes Hastings, 95, DeFuniak Springs, Fla., formerly of Topeka, died Sunday, April 1, 2001, at her home.

She was born Dec. 11, 1905, in Tieghem, Belgium, to Charles Louis and Marie Elodie Van der Schelden Van de Wiele. She lived most of her life in Topeka.

Mrs. Hastings was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, Topeka.
