Minnie Schaeffer Minnie M. Schaeffer, 90, Topeka, died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at a Topeka retirement home. Parker-Price Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Prairie Home Cemetery northwest of Topeka.

Larry D. King, 51, Topeka, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at a Topeka hospital where he was admitted Thursday after he suffered a head injury in a fall from a ladder. He was a sign painter and was working on a sign in North Topeka when he fell.

He was born July 18, 1948, in Rolla, Mo., to Dorsey Lee and Margaret Helen Elms King. He graduated from Seaman High School in 1968 and spent most of his life in Topeka. He was a sign painter for more than 35 years and owned King Sign in Topeka.
