GREENSBURG --- John Delos Ary, 87, Greensburg, died Monday, Dec.
13, 1999, at a Hutchinson hospital.
Mr. Ary farmed west of Lewis until 1946 and west of Belpre until
1958. He was a bulk dealer for Mobil Oil Co. from 1960 to 1974 and
later for the Skelly Oil Co. He also had been director of Edwards
County NYA from 1933 to 1937.
He was born Oct. 14, 1912, in Lewis, the son of Charles A. and
Theresa Alice Bowman Ary. He graduated from Lewis High School in
1932, and he attended Kansas State University. He moved to Greensburg
from the farm near Belpre in 1958 and to the Hutchinson area in 1997.
