Cline calls White Lakes annex a success
|
More than a year after opening the treasurer's annex at White
Lakes Center, Shawnee County Treasurer Rita Cline considers the much-
debated annex a success.
"I've had some people tell me it's probably the most popular move
I've ever made," Cline said. She estimates that 70 percent of the
walk-in business of the treasurer's office is conducted at the annex.
Cline said the annex, at 3600 S.W. Topeka Blvd., handles an
average of about 325 transactions each day and handles more than
1,000 transactions during the last three business days of each month.
