Question -- What is the status of completing S.W. 34th between
Fairlawn Road and Belle? It lacks less than half a block of being
completed. Why wasn't it completed when the original work was done?

Answer -- The completion has been held up because many of the
homeowners in the vicinity don't want the street completed, said Bill
McCarter, city engineering affairs officer.
"There are some homeowners' associations in the area, and their
board people have said they don't want the street completed," he
