BERRYTON -- William E. "Bill" Allen, 70, Berryton, died Monday,
July 26, at a Topeka hospital.
Mr. Allen was involved with farm equipment sales and management
and was employed as the general manager of Tatge Chemical Company in
Herington for many years before retiring.
He was born Aug. 18, 1928, in Berryton, the son of Elwood and
Leona Murphy Allen. He served in the Army Air Corps from 1946 to
1950 after graduating from Berryton High School in 1946.
He was a member of Albert-Neese Lodge No. 248 AF & AM.
He married Betty M. Edwards in 1949. They were divorced. He
married Fern Ankrum on Jan. 27, ...
