Wichita State keeping door open for Evans

WICHITA -- Wichita State star Maurice Evans' future with the team
has been placed in doubt after he walked out of a workout and skipped
the Shockers' latest game.
Evans, a 6-foot-5 sophomore, did not suit up for Wednesday night's
79-76 loss to Northern Iowa.
Evans walked out of practice Tuesday and then did not show up for
a shoot-around on Wednesday, according to Wichita State sports
information director Larry Rankin.
