With the price of crude oil at its lowest level in real dollars since the Depression, those who work in Kansas' oil patch are looking toward Topeka and Washington for relief.SUBHEAD:GREAT BEND -- Just 18 months ago Jerry Green's oil business was worth $10 million. Today it is worth a quarter of a million dollars. "You're seeing a meltdown," said Green, 43, of Castle Resources in Hays. "People don't want to see this but it is happening."
