Bringing home the bacon
|
Growing up in a farm community, I milked cows, saddled horses and
did some awful things to calves.
I gathered eggs, cleaned chicken coops, filled stock tanks and
made many a cat's day by tossing them the soggy filters used in
separators, which were machines that, quite literally, separated
cream from milk.
But I never did anything with pigs. We didn't have pigs.
So don't ask me how I won the Celebrity Swine Show Saturday at the
