The president of the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce said
Tuesday she is seriously considering an offer to become Dave Kerr's
lieutenant-governor running mate.
Mary Birch, 49, who has led the Johnson County community's
economic development organization since 1984, said she hasn't made a
final decision.
"I've gone from carefully considering it to seriously considering
it," she said in a telephone interview Tuesday evening.
