Radios fastest way to receive weather warnings

Coverage broad: Most of state covered, and warning areas can be
programmed into set

NOAA Weather Alert Radios generally cost $30 to $60 each.
But considering the value of someone's life, officials say, that
is pretty cheap.
The National Weather Service and state emergency management
agencies are asking Kansans to buy the weather radios, which can save
lives by quickly informing owners about severe weather watches and
warnings.
Weather alert radios pick up broadcasts from a network of
transmitters that put out up-to-date weather information 24 hours a
day.
