His career at the Santa Fe Railroad was all about family for long-
time employee Joe Gonzales Jr.
Gonzales' grandfather, Epitacio Gonzales, moved from Mexico to
Topeka in the 1920s and began working for the Santa Fe Railroad in
the 1930s, as many Mexican families did around that time.
