Tom Goering knows a violin bow has 29 separate pieces and 120 individual pieces of horse hair - and he knows how to put them all together.

It takes Goering about 40 hours to make a bow, not counting interruptions. To put a bow together "takes good training and a lot of practice," he said.

"I have unlimited fascination with taking pieces of wood, putting them together and making something that sounds beautiful and looks beautiful," he said.
