Several events will be held in connection with the "Quilts Rooted in Tradition: Art Quilts From the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum" show:

-- Saturday, 2-4 p.m.: Families can tour the exhibit and then design fabric using leaves, flowers, photo-sensitive cloth and the sun; free with admission.

-- June 24, 2 p.m.: Film, "Woman's Work: Making Quilts, Creating Art."

-- June 28, 1 p.m.: Lecture by Judith Trager titled "Art Quilts."

-- July 13, 1 p.m.: Lecture by Carol Nielson titled "The Salt Lake City 14th Ward Album Quilt, 1857."

-- Aug. 5, 2 p.m.: Film, "A Century of Quilts: America in Cloth."
