QB leads Fremont over Mountain Crest
|
HYRUM -- Long passes, clutch runs and fourth-quarter turnovers
helped the Fremont Silver Wolves beat the Mountain Crest Mustangs 24-
14 Friday night to improve its record to 2-0 on the season.
It was the first loss of 2005 for Mountain Crest.
Fremont quarterback Greydn Morin had four completions of 30 yards
or more and threw two touchdowns to lead the Silver Wolves. He was 11-
for-21 with 245 yards and one interception.
With Mountain Crest leading 7-3 in the second quarter, Morin hit
Austin Raught with a 30-yard pass and then found Jade Hadley for a 53-
yard TD two plays later.
