Oslo. One can hardly open a newspaper without reading about
the Oslo peace accords between Israel and the Palestinians, and how
Israel's violation of this or that provision has led to the current
impasse and violence.
But the "Oslo" you read about has become surreal, entirely
disconnected from the documents actually signed by Yasser Arafat and
Israeli leaders.
