Repaired Duke Ellington School Can Reopen, D.C. Judge Rules

D.C. Superior Court Judge Kaye K. Christian ruled yesterday that Duke Ellington School of the Arts can reopen after hearing testimony about repairs made to an exit stairway at the school.

Ellington's 500 students are on spring break but will return to the building at 35th and R streets NW on April 1.
