Neil Simon fest is a Utah first
|
The Utah Neil Simon Festival, making its home in Cedar City --
already renowned as Utah's "festival city" -- opens a five-week run
on Friday.
Housed in Cedar's new Heritage Center complex, the company's first
season will include two classic Neil Simon comedies -- "The Odd
Couple" and "Barefoot in the Park," playing in repertory through Aug.
16.
Richard Bugg, who teaches acting at Southern Utah University, is
founding artistic director of the Neil Simon Festival. (He'll also be
directing "Barefoot" and playing fanatically fussy Felix Unger in
"Odd Couple.")
