Little El Nio grows stronger in Pacific
|
After spring storms brought water riches in 2006, fortune just
might look kindly again on Northern California farmers, cities and
ski resorts in 2007.
NASA and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
scientists say a weak El Nio is building in the eastern Pacific
Ocean, boosting the odds of a slightly wetter winter in California
and better skiing from the Sierra to the southern Rockies.
