FOX COULDN'T have made up a better Cinderella story than the one it had in "American Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino.

But it took Lifetime to put her story on the screen.

Fantasia grew up poor in North Carolina, her struggling parents divorced when she was young and by 17, she became the third generation of teen mothers in her family. But even before she had her daughter Zion, she was raped at her high school, engaged in an abusive relationship with her child's father and dropped out of school before

even getting a GED.
