WITH MOONLIGHT, so they say, comes lunacy. With Harold Pinter's
"Moonlight" you can expect the same thing.
Only this kind of lunacy is of the pretentious, theatrical variety
in which obscurity and abstraction masquerade as storytelling.
Here in the Bay Area we've seen some wonderful Pinter productions,
from "The Homecoming" at Berkeley's Aurora Theatre Company to
"Betrayal" at Walnut Creek's Playhouse West and "Old Times" at San
Francisco's American Conservatory Theater.
