Juanita Wilkes, 79, and Two Daughters Die In Car Crash; Longtime Clinton Residents

Three women killed Oct. 9 in Centreville, Md., when their car
was hit by a tractor-trailer were the mother and daughters of a
family that had lived in Clinton for several generations.
A spokesman for the Maryland State Police said that Juanita
Elizabeth Newman Wilkes, 79, and her daughters, Brenda Elizabeth
Wilkes, 49, and Faye Cecelia Wilkes Perry, 50, died at Routes 301
and 302 when their Honda was struck by the northbound truck and
knocked across the median into the southbound lanes. The women were
