TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Giants believe they have a closer in camp to replace Robb Nen in the not-too-distant future.

Each time David Aardsma pitches, that big league future appears sooner rather than later.

The 22-year-old right-hander grabbed notice again Monday, showing off a hard fastball and wicked curveball while striking out two in a scoreless inning against the Rockies at Hi Corbett Field.
