Lahti takes a new turn with `Mister'

Hollywood has countless fetishes, but one of the long-running ones is to team aging male stars with far younger actresses. This can probably be blamed on the fact that "a lot of the studio executives are male and a lot of them are adolescent," said Christine Lahti, the actress turned director of "My First Mister," which opened Friday.

From a distance, Lahti's movie, which teams 54-year-old comic actor Albert Brooks with 19-year-old ingenue Leelee Sobieski, would seem to mimic this formula.
