Bubonic plague fails to conquer community

The sense of panic among residents of the Colorado Centre neighborhood in southeast Colorado Springs, Colo., has given way to a grim determination to learn how to live with the threat of bubonic plague.

The El Paso County Department of Health and Environment has told hundreds of neighborhood residents that the threat will last another month or so.

Bubonic plague found in feral cat/ Health Department suggests taking precautions
