`Loud' to tell story of black music
5-part series to examine impact of music ranging from jazz to hip-

Los Angeles -- In the wake of Ken Burns' acclaimed "Jazz" series,
and as Black History Month gets under way, a five-part documentary on
the history of black music is going into production.
