The fourth official filing date for campaign finance reports
for the 1998 mayoral race was Aug. 10, covering June 10 to Aug. 10.
It was the first filing for Anthony A. Williams, the former D.C.
chief financial officer who entered the race after the June 10
filing. It was the second report filed by D.C. Council member Harold
Brazil (D-At Large), the third report filed by council member Kevin
P. Chavous (D-Ward 7) and the fourth filing by council member Jack
