Idyllic in every sense Beauty and harmony permeate a Polynesian paradise

Crooning "Bora Bora," the barefoot driver skimmed his outrigger canoe across milky aquamarine waters of beauty defying description. A display of Polynesia's coveted tattoos and a gardenia-scented tiare flower lei adorned his bare mahogany chest.

His thick black hair still dripped from an underwater excursion where our canoe of adventurers had watched him feed raw fish to sharks. Tied to his canoe hull was a cascade of palm fronds and brilliant bird of paradise flowers. How fitting.

Above or below the translucent water, paradise could not come much closer than this Bora Bora of which he warbled.
