St. Mary's plays vital role in Mequon Five years after its move from Port, hospital's patient numbers are rising

St. Mary's Hospital Ozaukee has filled a vacuum in Ozaukee County,
judging by the rising numbers who use its emergency room, outpatient
and rehabilitation services.
Whether growth-cautious Mequon will permit the 82-bed hospital to
expand significantly remains to be seen.
Nevertheless, health care professionals and local officials had
high praise for the profitable hospital, which specializes in
orthopedic surgery, emergency and rehabilitation services, and
delivering babies.
