Art museum drew 2.3% more visitors in 1998
|
The Milwaukee Art Museum has toted up its attendance figures for
1998 and, despite complications arising from its ongoing expansion
project, the results are distinctly upbeat.
Overall attendance increased by 2.3%, with "nearly 375,000 people
experiencing MAM during 1998," said museum spokeswoman Polly Scott.
Scott was quick to note, however, that of that total, just 169,338
visited the museum "in person."
