Forget wristwatches, clock radios and other conventional
time-telling devices: When people downtown want to know the hour,
they listen for the authentic tones of a German glockenspiel.
For the past two months, village residents have been greeted every
hour between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. by Earl, Eric and Hans three
38-inch-tall wooden musicians hidden in the overhang above the Gift
of Time clock shop on Main St.
