Clinton attorney asks Reno for information sent to Starr

President Clinton's private attorney asked Attorney General Janet Reno Monday night to turn over information that independent counsel Kenneth Starr used in seeking an expansion of his Whitewater inquiry into Clinton's affair with Monica Lewinsky.

David Kendall, lawyer for Clinton, said in a letter to Reno that he wanted to explore whether Starr's representations to Reno that led to the expansion were "both complete and truthful."
