Selling business isn't easy, couple says Zoning laws, market hurt sale of bowling center, bar

If Jim and Toni Hepfner had their way, they would be out of the
bowling center business by now.
The couple have been trying to sell their 52-year-old bowling
center and tavern for three years.
The trouble, they say, is restrictive city zoning that discourages
the sale of the valuable piece of real estate.
City officials dispute that contention, and they say they actually
have tried to help make the site more attractive to developers of
restaurants the kind of business the city would like to see there.
