New brewpub should stick to ale, simple fare instead of pricey entrees

I had no idea how popular the new Milwaukee Ale House was until I
was three blocks away at 6 on a Wednesday night. Every parking
space on every street for three blocks around the place was filled,
mostly with newer and better cars than mine.
And it wasn't until I walked into the door that I really felt out
of my league. At 6 p.m., the Milwaukee Ale House, which co-owners
Mike Bieser and Jim McCabe opened Oct. 17, is one hopping place and a
magnet for the after-work crowd.
