IN THE SPOTLIGHT `Buffalo Soldiers' hits trail on TNT
|
It's New Mexico territory in 1880, and the Texas Rangers have
rounded up a band of Mescalero Apaches mostly women, children and
old men while scouring the countryside for the rampaging war chief
Victorio. They start lynching Apaches at the rate of three an hour
and won't stop until somebody reveals where Victorio is hiding.
That's when a U.S. Cavalry troop comes riding up and puts the
Texas Rangers under arrest on murder charges.
