Potomac Boys Make Up For Lost Time With Win
|
For as much success as the Potomac High School boys track and
field team had enjoyed on the regional, state and even national
levels in the past two seasons, the local competition had been a
little less obliging.
Last year during the Cardinal District championships, a
dropped baton in the mile relay cost the team the district title.
This year during the indoor season, Potomac finished second, two
points short of the title.
On Wednesday, however, the Panthers had no such problems,
outscoring second-place Woodbridge, 157.3 to 114.3, to win the
