Newest `Doom' carries some problems into action for Nintendo 64

"Doom" is back. This time it blasts its way onto the Nintendo 64 for the most lethal version of the entire "Doom" series. Midway Home Entertainment gives players a hellacious ride with the exclusive "Doom 64."

The graphics are the best of any "Doom" title, but there are still some flaws. All the characters have a more savage look about them, but the enemies still become pixilated at close range. Nintendo 64 has the tools to almost eliminate those kinds of choppy-looking graphics.
