Boom Seen In Women's Basketball

After playing her first season for the Sacramento Monarchs in the WNBA last summer, Tajama Abraham spent a few weeks last fall playing for women's professional teams in Israel and southern Italy.

But, Abraham, a former George Washington University player, missed her family. She also missed the "great feeling" she had from playing in front of WNBA fans. She decided playing overseas wasn't for her. So, she returned to Washington and found a job at GW during the offseason.
