Those who overindulged this holiday season are being beckoned by a host of hot new miracle weight-loss concoctions.

The latest over-the-counter fat fighters, pills containing chromium picolinate and hydroxycitrate, are waiting on the shelves of nutrition stores and drug stores and are available by mail order and even on the Internet.
