Those who overindulged this holiday season are being beckoned by a host of hot new miracle weight-loss concoctions.

The latest over-the-counter fat fighters, pills containing chromium picolinate and hydroxycitrate, are waiting on the shelves of nutrition stores and drug stores and are available by mail order and even on the Internet.

"This time of year we really sell a lot of weight loss products," said Lois Drew, manager of the General Nutrition Center in the Grand Avenue mall. ...
