If Menominee Indian tribal leaders decide today to appeal a federal court ruling last week, the tribe's dispute with the state over fishing and hunting rights across much of Wisconsin is far from over, an attorney for the tribe says.

U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb dismissed the tribe's lawsuit seeking unregulated fishing and hunting rights on public lands, as many as 10 million acres outside the Menominee reservation.
